As the number of people in ICE detention throughout the country increases and we witness violent ICE arrests, we continue working towards collective liberation. CCIJ was built for this. We’ve been here before. We’ve set up systems and infrastructure in anticipation of what we’re experiencing today: an assault on our constitutional rights.
We’ve continued - and grown - our work in solidarity with those resisting inside ICE detention by providing legal support, engaging in advocacy, coordinating with survivors and partners across California, and fighting back against anti-immigrant and criminalizing narratives, which unfortunately are on the rise.
We received support from so many community members since CCIJ started nearly ten years ago as the Northern California Rapid Response Network, and we hope you will continue to support us now.
