As the number of people in ICE detention throughout the country increases and we witness violent ICE arrests, we continue working towards collective liberation. CCIJ was built for this. We’ve been here before. We’ve set up systems and infrastructure in anticipation of what we’re experiencing today: an assault on our constitutional rights.
We’ve continued - and grown - our work in solidarity with those resisting inside ICE detention by providing legal support, engaging in advocacy, coordinating with survivors and partners across California, and fighting back against anti-immigrant and criminalizing narratives, which unfortunately are on the rise.​
We received support from so many community members since CCIJ started nearly ten years ago as the Northern California Rapid Response Network, and we hope you will continue to support us now.

If you would like to join our CCIJust Goals Soccer Tournament, here is what you can do:

[CREATE A TEAM] Find a group of friends, colleagues, or relatives with a minimum of 8-12 players. Games will be 5v5. Each team must have 2 non-male-identifying participants playing at all times. All participants must be 18+. Get together with your team and come up with a creative team name that best describes you!

[FUNDRAISE] Each team captain will be sent a fundraising toolkit that includes a fundraising page. Every team will have the goal of raising a minimum of $1000 to participate, but teams are encouraged to raise more. All proceeds will go towards our mission of ending ICE detention. If a team is struggling to meet the goal by that date, please reach out to us!

[PLAY] Arrive at Negoesco Stadium at University of San Francisco on Saturday, July 26 before 8AM. This year we are playing on a turf soccer pitch so please wear comfortable athletic shoes or turf soccer cleats (NO SPIKES ALLOWED).
